Teen Life is a great place for your teens to come and develop the skills that will equip them in becoming disciples of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to see each young person live a life passionately for their Savior.
Our Youth Leader, Carol Campbell, holds a plaque from the District Council recognizing the Youth for being in the top 15% of contributors in the state of Tennessee for their Speed the Light contribution for 2017. The Youth set an ambitious goal of $2,500 and exceeded it, raising a total of $3,818.20.
In June 2017, three of our teens spent a week sharing the gospel in Colombia, South America with the TYM AIM Missions team. In July 2018, we will send four teens to Alaska. Our goal is to send more youth on missions trips in the future.
Several times a year, the Youth take over! The service is planned, the praise and worship is led, and the Word is shared all by our Youth. This service is open to the community and is a great opportunity to minister to the local teens and young adults.
Each summer, our Youth Group attends a life changing week at Camp Jackson. At Camp, they learn to worship, praise, and act like David with other teens from across the state of Tennessee and even surrounding areas.
Celebration of Praise Youth Convention is held in November each year. This is two days of intense "camp-like" praise and worship and service. It is held at Opryland Hotel, and is another chance to deepen relationships with God.
